Things I've learned since the last blog

-Don't order a coffee "light and sweet" in Canada. You might as well just ask for a zucchini-flavored coffee because the cashier will think you're nuts either way.

-If you're going to the grocery store for 1 item, forget it. You will be stuck in the express lane behind that old lady who asks how much every item is as it gets scanned. She may even argue about that loaf of bread that was supposed to be $1.89, but rang up $2.12.

- 15 minutes of "fame" has actually turned into agonizing years of seeing Lauren Conrad in magazines.

-My 35 year old co-worker has never heard of Cheap Trick, Heart or Journey.

-When my rude downstairs neighbors demand in a foreign language that I hand them their mail, I actually do it. Well, just once. My brother has kicked me out of the family for it.

-The most depressing place to be at 10:45 on a Saturday night is the laundromat. (I had a drying emergency.)

-I may not be able to do a cartwheel, but I can connect Alfred Hitchcock to M Night Shyamalan in 5 degrees of separation.

Until next time...
